outer belt wrap lowered cost 47%/vehicle (by eliminating end caps and stretch
bending); reduced mass 18%/vehicle; improved customer fit & finish by using
a material with low CLTE for tighter margins; eliminated corrosion and sharp
corners; improved serviceability; and increased design flexibility by creating
a smooth transition between fixed glass and belts.
