Injection/compression molding was used to produce this
lightweight (65 lb), thin-wall lockable tonneau cover, allowing a much smaller
press to be used. Once molded, top and bottom halves, reinforcement bars and
assembly clips are added and the two halves are vibration welded. One of
industry's largest high-frequency vibration-welding machines is used to bond up
to 70 in.2 of welded surface. The PP grade used was
specifically formulated to reduce warpage and facilitate proper
welding/assembly.

Hi people,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this wonderful article really!
If someone want to learn more about Tonneau Cover I think this is the right place for you!
Choosing the right cover for your pickup will depend on how you use your truck. All our tonneau covers offer protection and cut down on drag. So the question is: which is right for you? Consider what the primary reason for your cover is and what level of peace of mind and security you want. Also, how often do you need full access to the entire length of your truck bed? What is the best F150 Bed Cover on the market? Tough questions. Let's try to answer them each in turn.
ReplyDeleteGood post. I'm happy to hear that the lightweight PP grade tonneau cover is easy to weld. It will make it easier for me when I need new parts, and it should be much less expensive too! Also, at https://www.techplaastic.com/thermoset-injection-moulding-india/, we never sacrifice quality for weight and were able to use injection moulding as well!
