Door-Trim Map-Pocket Beverage Retainer

An industry first, this injection-molded map-pocket beverage retainer makes use of a living hinge molded into the outer door-trim panel to eliminate mechanical fasteners and help reduce beverage spillage in the map pocket. The idea is patented in both the U.S. and China, since the application is not restricted just to door trim, but can be used elsewhere in the vehicle. The low-cost easy-to-assemble 1-piece design allows consumers to stow both 20 oz and 1.5 liter bottles in the same space (but not at the same time).
