This program represents the first use of 2-cavity injection molding to
produce an unreinforced MPPO / PA fender. 
In turn, this reduces tooling investment and cuts per-part cycle time by
50%.  The part, which is 50% lighter than
steel and cuts CO2 emissions by 40% in a full LCA analysis,
features integrated brackets and offers excellent HIC capabilities without need
for additional crush brackets.  It is OEM
paint-line compatible for electrostatic painting (thanks to a conductive
filler).
