This is the first use of PA 4/6 in a turbo-charged,
high-performance V6 engine. When used on chain-contact wear surfaces, the
material has proven to reduce tailpipe emissions by decreasing rotational
engine torque. The material provides superior stiffness and fatigue performance
in the engine's tensioner arm and wear surfaces while improving durability,
reliability, cost, and mass vs. aluminum and PA 6/6.
